Sustainability is the process where something can be done over very long periods of time in the same way with the same results without negatively impacting the subject practice or other processes. In an aquarium, sustainability refers to fish and tank health, as well we tank raised fish. When we think of tank raised aquatic life, we think of healthy systems that can run long-term without use of outside products to keep them stable. This is sustainability at work. Creating a healthy stable environment through the use of tank raised animals can help the sustainability of the natural environment and lessen the carbon footprint.
